About The Yacht surveyor
Pim van Putten has saltwater running though his veins; he's had a connection to the water from a young age. During his childhood, he spent every weekend and summer vacation aboard his parents' boat. In his adult life, he's owned and refurbished numerous cabin sailing yachts.
He currently sails on a Bavaria 46 Cruiser, which has undergone a complete (technical) refit in recent seasons.
Various duo-handed and solo sailing trips, both domestically and internationally, led him to the yacht brokerage industry.
After independently establishing and running an international yacht brokerage, he's now ready to assist (new) boat owners with the purchase of their dream yacht at The Yacht surveyor. With over 10 years of experience as an international yacht broker and his presence at every technical inspection (800+), he understands the pitfalls like no other.
