Cadastry inspection

In the Netherlands, various vessels are registered in the Dutch Cadastry. This provides you, as a boat owner, with 100% conclusive proof of ownership.

In the event of an inspection abroad, you will have the proof of ownership and any nationality certificate and certificate of registration on board.

Even in the event of financing or a mortgage, the vessel will be registered in the Dutch Cadastry.

It sometimes happens that these registrations are not deregistered during a sale, and a seller unknowingly hasn't been the legal owner for years!

This can lead to unpleasant situations, for example, when heirs suddenly come forward.

The Yacht surveyor checks whether the vessel is registered in the Dutch Cadastry and that it is removed before delivery.

Cadastry

Through our membership with the Dutch Cadastry, we can immediately check whether the ship is registered and who the formal owner is, and/or whether there is a mortgage on it.

ICP Watersportverbond

The Dutch Watersports Association issues the so-called ICP.

This is an unofficial proof of ownership that is not recognized by many countries!

Certificate of Registry

In collaboration with the Ilent and the Land Registry, a brand mark is placed on board. We inspect this and assist with de-registration and/or transfer (only possible through a notary).
